Cooperating Certification Bodies
CertifHy works with a network of cooperating Certification Bodies to deliver our Non-Governmental Certificate (NGC) Scheme and the CertifHy EU Voluntary Scheme. These independent organisations play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and credibility of our programs.
What Certification Bodies Do
Certification Bodies act as independent, third-party auditors. They assess organisations against the rigorous requirements of our certification schemes. This includes:
- Nominating Auditors: Certification Bodies nominate qualified auditors who have undergone CertifHy EU Voluntary Scheme training to conduct audits.
- Auditing Based on Standards: Audits are conducted according to the highest quality standards, including ISO 17065 and ISO 14065.
- Verifying Compliance: Auditors meticulously evaluate production processes to ensure they meet all scheme requirements.
- Reporting and Recommendations: Following the audit, a comprehensive report is provided with factual conclusions about compliance and the eligibility of the production plant for certification.
