Recently, we had the excellent opportunity to talk with Greenfact about our CertifHy™’s GO scheme and how we perceived the potential growth of green hydrogen production across Europe covered by the Guarantees of Origin. Besides, we also mentioned our vision about the Renewable Fuels Non-Biological Origins (RFNBO), and how the development of an EU Voluntary Scheme will be the key driver for the growth of the hydrogen market in the transport sector and the industry.
Among the highlights, CertifHy™ expects a majority of all hydrogen production in the EU to be eventually covered by hydrogen certificates and the trade share of H2 certificates to represent several terawatt-hours by 2025
CertifHy™ will seek recognition as EU Voluntary Scheme for Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin in the first half of 2022. Our ambition is to become the leader of renewable and low carbon hydrogen certification in Europe and beyond.
❝Strong policies worldwide regarding the development of clean hydrogen markets will give rise to the need for verification systems at which point certification becomes a natural facilitator❞
