2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences over time. Some cookies are set by us (first-party); others are set by third-party services we use.
Similar technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels work in the same way and are covered by this policy.
3. Which cookies do we use?
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function. They do not require your consent and cannot be refused.
3.2 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website. They are only placed after you give consent via our cookie banner.
Google Analytics is deployed via Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KWBHXGQL) and is managed by our consent platform CookieHub. It only activates once your analytics consent is recorded.
3.3 Functional and marketing cookies (always active)
The following technology is loaded on all pages of our website regardless of your consent choice. This is a known limitation we are working to address.
HubSpot is used to operate our contact forms, newsletter subscription, webinar registration, and training sign-up. The tracking code is loaded directly via our CMS.
3.4 Third-party content (video)
When you access recorded webinars or video content on our resource portal (resources.certifhy.eu), this content is hosted on YouTube. YouTube may set its own cookies and tracking technologies when the video player loads. YouTube’s own consent mechanism applies in that context.
For full details, see YouTube’s Privacy Policy.
3.5 Payment processing
When you purchase a training course, you are redirected to a Stripe-hosted payment page (not embedded on our website). Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention and payment security purposes. These are governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
4. How to manage your consent
When you first visit our website, a banner powered by CookieHub allows you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies by category. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer of any page.
You can also manage or delete cookies directly through your browser settings. Please note that refusing or deleting all cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of the website, including the training and resource areas.
For more information on managing cookies in your browser, visit www.aboutcookies.org.
5. International data transfers
Google Analytics and YouTube are services provided by Google LLC, based in the United States. Data may be transferred to the US under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
Stripe Inc. is based in the United States and processes payment data under SCCs.
HubSpot stores and processes data within the European Union (Germany) and is therefore not subject to international transfer restrictions.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
